Palestine Collection: From Inspiration to Charity

Collection Palestine : de l’inspiration à l’action caritative - Seni'Stuff

The trigger: broken truce and silence of the networks

There was a very specific trigger. On the night of March 17-18, 2025, the truce was shattered and the bombing of Gaza resumed. This rupture was a shock, all the more so because it was accompanied by near silence from many lifestyle influencers in our community. When you have hundreds of thousands of followers, you have the ability to inform and mobilize; saying “I’m privately committed” isn’t enough when a simple story can enlighten, connect, and act. That’s when I decided to transform my work into a lever of art and concrete help.

Intention: to recognize a people, a history, a present

My intention was not to speak only of the tragedy. Above all, I wanted to pay tribute to a people in all their depth: their history, their culture, their sacred places, and the strength of the women who embody them. The collection crystallizes Palestinian history through time: I drew the past, but also the present, to bear witness to what is happening today and what must be protected tomorrow. I wanted people to see Al-Aqsa as a major landmark to be preserved, and to feel the international sisterhood: women, veiled or not, united by attention, words, and mutual aid, each according to their own scale, near or far.

Aesthetics: Tatreez, flag colors and contemporary symbols

Aesthetically, my inspirations come first from Palestinian embroidery, the tatreez, which carries a subtle and powerful textile memory. I worked with the colors of the flag: black, white, green, red, like a visual common thread. I also brought in symbols of our time, like the watermelon, which has become a rallying sign because it unites these colors and has allowed, on the networks, to circumvent censorship when talking about Palestine caused publications to be taken down. Finally, I insisted on the plurality of modesty: the Palestinian reality is not monolithic and it seemed essential to me to represent veiled women and women who are not.

Responsible manufacturing: limited editions and natural cotton

The manufacturing process follows the same logic of respect and clarity. The collection includes six models, each produced in a limited edition of fifteen pieces. The tote bags measure 45 × 38 cm, made of 220 g/m² canvas, with 67 cm handles. They are 100% cotton and screen-printed to ensure a clean, durable, and detailed finish. My creative process begins with a freehand sketch on Procreate. I create mood boards from visual references often found on Pinterest to maintain a common thread and never lose sight of the story I want to tell. Everything then comes together into a coherent narrative: each piece is autonomous, but all interact with each other.

Charity commitment: €5 per bag for MATW Project France

This commitment is also charitable. I chose to donate an average of €5 per bag to MATW Project France. I discovered the association's work thanks to Chérine, one of the rare influencers who works directly with Palestinian orphans and takes action on the ground. MATW works to rehouse families and provide essential needs: healthcare, food supplies, and medical supplies. For me, it was impossible to talk about Palestine without participating, even modestly, in the lives of Palestinians. Art mobilizes attention; donations mobilize reality.

Limited collection, sustainable gesture

This collection is deliberately limited. It's part of a slow fashion approach: produce less, produce better, with natural materials and a true meaning behind each piece. When a design leaves, it doesn't come back. This choice honors both the artistic standards and the responsibility I want to carry.

If you're looking for a simple way to take action while wearing a symbol that tells, protects, and connects, then this collection is for you.
